SPORT Fitness Boxing Meets Bootcamp

This is the ultimate full-body workout. A SPORT Fitness Bootcamp class will consist of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), punching and kicking techniques, and weight lifting movements to help you burn fat, tone muscles, and build strength. Each instructor brings their own personal touch to make the class fun and unique.

SPORT Fitness Kickboxing

We promise not to waste your time with useless “cardio kickboxing” workouts that aren’t practical in the real world. Our boxing and kickboxing classes are taught by instructors with actual ring or cage experience. In these classes, you’ll build confidence and learn proper, real life techniques that will torch calories and give you the abilities to defend yourself against real life attackers.

Coaches

 

Adam Dicker

SPORT Fitness head coach, Adam Dicker, has been a personal trainer since 2009. He specializes in weight loss, athletic conditioning, strength training, bootcamp workouts and MMA/kickboxing. 

 

Adam has been training in Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu and MMA since 2010. He has traveled to Thailand to learn and appreciate the art of Muay Thai. He holds an amateur Muay Thai record of 3-1. Adam is undefeated in MMA, and last competed in 2014 winning by Guillotine Choke in the second round. He also holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Carlson Gracie and Mark Daley. 

 

Adam has coached boxers and MMA fighters in amateur events including the Golden Gloves boxing tournament, the Xtreme Fighting Organization (XFO), and the World Muay Thai Organization (WMO).

Mayla Arceo Dicker

Through her experience as a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor, Mayla fuses physical movement with mindfulness to help others perform at their best. She believes that everyone has immense strength within, and her mission is to help others in their journey to discover their strength. Mayla is a NASM-certified trainer and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). Her area of focus is Ashtanga Vinyasa, with emphasis on powerful athletic flows. She has trained in more than 30 studios around the world, and has trained under Katarina Rayburn, Stewart Gilchrist, and Sarah Hatcher. 

Tom Wilk

Tom was a college baseball player at Aurora University. He has been a personal trainer and fitness manager since 2014. His approach when working with clients is to provide a well-rounded workout style that will provide them with variety and longevity. He incorporates strength training, high intensity interval training (HIIT), body building, plyometric training, balance, coordination, stability, and mobility in his bootcamps. 

 

Health and fitness are some of his greatest passions. He has been active in the gym and playing sports from early childhood, including baseball, football, tennis, basketball, and gymnastics.

Anthony Inacay

Anthony is a martial arts practitioner, personal trainer, and class instructor. He has years of experience with helping people reach their fitness goals. Anthony has worked with a wide range of clientele and now focuses on delivering one of the best kickboxing experiences. Along with fitness trainer credentials, Anthony has a diverse competitive sports background , with his most prestigious athletic accomplishment being a qualification to the NJCAA Cross Country Nationals. Anthony is dedicated to bringing positive energy and enthusiasm, during your next calorie burning - fun - empowering kickboxing class!

Jose Lemus

Jose has worked with hundreds of clients from all walks of life to help them achieve their health and fitness goals. From performing better during competition to moving pain free through daily activities, he has the expertise to design a program that is personalized for you. As a lifelong Martial Artist, Competitive Fighter and a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, Jose has all the tools to not only give you a great workout, but guide you through the various phases of your training in the safest and most productive way possible. Jose has trained clients such as High School Athletes, Competitive Combat Sport Athletes, Health Club Goers, and Seniors working towards a more active lifestyle.

Patrick Strickland 

Patrick was a former Division one athlete who played football at  University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is currently studying Kinesiology at the university and is expected to graduate this spring of 2021. While working part time here at Sport Fitness Chicago as well. He is already CPR/ AED certified and once graduated Patrick will be able to be certified as a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). Patrick has been studying kickboxing periodically throughout his life under the instruction of his father who competed semi-professionally in the sport. Though he buckled down on training with Coach Adam this past year and has gained a ton of knowledge from his teachings. Patrick wants to create an environment of community, trust, and confidence for his students. He emphasizes the overall being of wellness such as: mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. The best thing in his eyes is seeing a client of his not only meet their goals, but succeed past them. In addition to able to pass it down to the next person in line.

Beth Garcia

With a decade of martial arts training and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Beth utilizes her former competition experience and extensive coaching practice to support fighters and competition teams as they prepare for and achieve their fighting and fitness goals. During her time competing, Beth won more than two dozen gold medals and championship belts in gi and no gi events, including IBJJF and NAGA. As an instructor, she specializes in creating supportive and inclusive training environments that turn new students into fighters and fighters into champions.

 

Beth believes success comes from a holistic coaching approach. In addition to her work as a martial arts instructor, she is a certified leadership coach, providing leadership and performance coaching to high-performing professionals, business owners, athletes, and coaches. Beth holds a coaching certification through Northwestern University and is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.
