Steve Carlson
Steve is many things; personal trainer, martial artist, kettlebell, husband, dad, and big ol’ nerd. But, above “what” Steve is, there is WHY Steve is…

To help people to get stronger, so they can always be capable of doing hard things.

Steve’s passion for movement began at the early age of 5 when he started wresting. Through primary school and college he continued playing different sports such as football, soccer, track and field, and golf while also practicing a wide variety of martial arts with a primary focus of Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai.
After Studying Exercise Physiology at Southern Illinois University, Steve began his training career and has continued ever since, apart from a brief but amazing stint as a “stay at home dad.” Now, after almost two decades of personal training, group classes, attending certifications, coaching, gym consulting, teaching at certifications and refining his craft of strengthening people, you can find Steve teaching kettlebell skills, hiking National Parks with his family, or playing Dungeons and Dragons.
